Ceramic bearing

(technical grade: P4, P5, P6, P0) ceramic bearing, the most representative rolling bearing is deep groove ball, which is widely used and can bear radial load and bidirectional axial load. It is suitable for high speed rotation, low noise, low vibration, high temperature, high temperature, corrosion, magnetic field, non insulation and other fields where steel bearings cannot be used.


Classification of ceramic bearings

The full loaded ball type all ceramic bearing has a ball adding gap on one side. Because of the non cage structure design, it can load more ceramic balls than the standard structure bearing, so as to improve its load capacity. In addition, it can avoid the limitation of cage material, and achieve the corrosion resistance and temperature resistance effect of ceramic cage type all ceramic bearing. This series of bearing is not suitable for high speed, so the notch surface should be installed at the end not bearing axial load.


Silicon nitride all ceramic bearing

Silicon nitride all ceramic bearing rings and rolling elements are made of silicon nitride (Si3N4) ceramic materials. Generally, rpa66-25, peek, PI, phenolic sandwich rubber wood pipe can also be used. Compared with all ceramic bearings made of SiN4, ZrO2 material can be applied to higher speed and load, as well as to higher ambient temperature. At the same time, it can provide precision ceramic bearings for high-speed, high-precision and high-rigid spindles, with the highest manufacturing accuracy up to P4 to up.


Zirconia all ceramic bearing

All ceramic bearing has the characteristics of anti magnetoelectric insulation, wear and corrosion resistance, oil-free self-lubricating, high temperature and high cold resistance, etc., which can be used in extremely harsh environment and special working conditions. The ferrule and rolling element are made of zirconia (ZrO2) ceramic material, and the retainer is made of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE). Generally, glass fiber reinforced nylon 66 (rpa66-25), special engineering plastics (PEEK, PI), stainless steel (aisisus316), brass (Cu) can also be used.


Hybrid ceramic ball bearing

Ceramic ball, especially silicon nitride ball, has the characteristics of low density, high hardness, low friction coefficient, good wear resistance, self lubrication and good rigidity. It is especially suitable for rolling element of high speed, high precision and long life hybrid ceramic ball bearing (inner and outer rings are metal). Generally, bearing steel (GCr15) or stainless steel (aisi440c) is used for inner and outer rings, and ZrO2, Si3N4 or SiC materials can be selected for ceramic balls.


Installation and precautions of ceramic bearing

When installing the bearing, equal pressure must be applied on the circumference of the naughty end face. In order to install the ring, it is forbidden to directly knock the ring end face with the heavy weight of a hammer to avoid damaging the bearing.


In addition, if one side of the ring is pressed in, the safety net will cause indentation or scratch on the rolling surface, which should not be used, especially when the non separating ceramic is installed on the shaft or bearing box, if it is indicated, the inner and outer rings should be pressed in evenly with a pad iron.

Matching of ceramic bearings

1. Interference

Fix the inner ring and outer ring of rolling bearing on the shaft or bearing housing. When it bears the load, the mating surface of the ring and the bearing box will not move in the radial direction and axial direction. This relative movement will cause wear, friction corrosion or friction cracks on the mating surface, resulting in damage to the bearing, shaft and axle box, and then wear powder mixed into the bearing, resulting in poor operation, abnormal heat or vibration. As for the way of fixing the bearing, it is the best to set aside the interference amount on the fitting surface of the ring and the shaft or bearing box, which can make the load of the thin-walled ring evenly distributed on the circumference, without affecting the load capacity of the bearing. In addition to the inconvenient installation and removal of bearings, the free side bearing can not be turned and moved when the separation bearing is used, so it can not be used in all occasions.

2. Choice of cooperation

The selection of cooperation is generally carried out according to the following principles. According to the load direction and nature of the acting bearing and which direction the inner and outer rings rotate, the load borne by each ring can be divided into rotating negative load, static load and non directional load. It should be fitted with a rotating ring without interference. The disassembly of ceramic bearing is easy to install and difficult to disassemble, so we should pay attention to the method. There are two types of detachable ceramic bearings,

First, the inner sleeve has no taper, and the inner sleeve is in direct contact with the shaft. For this kind of ceramic bearing can be said to be the most difficult to disassemble, bearing and shaft direct contact, need to pay attention not to directly beat with the dish.

When the nut is tight, the inner sleeve can be directly contacted with the inner sleeve.

1、 Disassembly method of ceramic bearing without taper

When we dismantle the ceramic bearing without taper, "hot disassembly method" is mainly used to remove the bearing with interference fit. First, pour the oil heated to about two hundred degrees on the bearing to be removed. After the ceramic bearing ring is heated and expanded, the bearing can be pulled out with a puller. Note: the heating process belongs to local heating, only the ceramic bearing is heated, and the shaft can finally have a cold contraction process, which is conducive to the disassembly of the ceramic bearing.

2、 Disassembly method of ceramic bearing with tight set sleeve

For this case, there are many methods of disassembly, because the stress part is mainly in the set sleeve, the bearing damage is very small. Qingdao European fine machinery provides you with two ways:

1. The pushing method uses a press to push the bearing, which is stable and reliable without damaging the machine and bearing shielding room. There are hydraulic press, manual press or mechanical press;

2. The pull-out method uses a special puller. When disassembling, the self-lubricating bearing will be slowly pulled out by rotating the handle. When removing the bearing outer ring, the bending angle of the two legs of the puller should be outward; when removing the bearing inner ring, the two feet of the puller should be inward and be stuck on the end face of the bearing inner ring.
